Does it hurt?
It can! The pain you may experience whilst getting a tattoo varies from person to person. Some parts of the body are more sensitive than others but it also depends greatly on your own personal pain tolerance. If you stay calm and relaxed, in general a tattoo is no worse than a cat scratch or mild sunburn. If you decide to take a painkiller prior to your appointment, avoid asprin based medicine as it thins the blood.

How much does a tattoo cost?
It is nearly impossible to estimate the final cost of a tattoo before the design stage has begun. “A tattoo on my lower back” simply isn't enough information for the artist to give you an accurate idea of the cost. You must discuss several factors with the artist before he can give you a quote; Where is the tattoo going to be on your body? How big is it going to be? What colour/s do you want? How much detail is in the design?... It is sometimes possible to give a quote over the phone or via email but usually the best option is to come to the studio in person and discuss the design with an artist.

I am almost 18 years old, can I get atattoo? My parents say it's OK!
Simply, no. You are welcome to book an appointment for after your 18th birthday but it is illegal for us to tattoo anyone under 18 - even with their parent's express consent!
